A Weekend in the Homelab

Spent the weekend elbow-deep in the rack. The plan was simple — add storage, tidy the cabling — and, as always, it was not simple.

New drives went in clean. The tidy-up went fine. Then one box decided it no longer wanted to boot, which cost me an evening and taught me (again) to write things down before I change them.

By Sunday night everything was humming, cooler and quieter than before, with room to grow. Worth it.
